Thank you for supporting Shakespeare at the Lake! We are excited to announce that we are back for our 9th annual Shakespeare at the Lake. This year’s production of The Tempest will be performed at Lakeport’s Library Park and Clearlake’s Austin Park. The dates are Saturday July 27th and Sunday the
28th in Lakeport and Friday August 2nd and Saturday the 3rd in Clearlake.
The Shakespeare at the Lake production is a collaborative effort between the Lake County
Theatre Company (LCTC) and Mendocino College. It is presented annually to the Lakeport and
Clearlake communities without charge. However, the production relies on community support to
cover its expenses.
Suggested categories are:
● Royalty, $1000; 2 crowns for our royal guests, and up to 4 garlands for their court when
in attendance, Full-page ad in program, Facebook shoutout
● Gentry, $500; up to 4 garlands for our honored guests when in attendance, Half-page ad
in program, Facebook shoutout
● Merchant, $250; merchant ring for each of up to 4 guests attending, Quarter-page ad in
program, Facebook shoutout
● Yeoman, $100; small ad in program, Facebook shoutout
● Groundling, $50; mention in the program, Facebook shoutout
Contributions of any amount are gratefully accepted for student scholarships and to cover the
