Committees

Fundraising

(Ed Borg, Chairperson) We rely on fundraising to help offset the expenses of our organization.  Fundraising events include Adult Prom, Mr. Lake County, Lip Sync Show, Crappy Christmas Caroling.  Being on this committee can be a lot of fun!  We would love to hear your ideas! (Email: Fundraising@laketheatre.org)

Membership

(TBD) Maintaining the LCTC membership list is an on-going task.  If you are interested in being on this committee, or possibly being the chairperson, please email us. (Email: Membership@laketheatre.org)

Play Selection

(Larry Richardson, Chairperson) Have you ever wondered how we pick the plays that we perform?  This very dedicated committee does just that.  Do you have ideas about a play that you would like to see?  Just come to the committee meetings and let your voice be heard!! (Email: Playselection@laketheatre.org)

Play/Production Oversight

(Dennis Fay, Chairperson)  It takes a lot of effort to put on our shows and the members of this committee work with our on-going productions to assist them however and whenever possible.  They make sure each show is getting the support they need every step of the way.  (Email: Oversight@laketheatre.org)

Public Relations

(Marie Schrader, Chairperson)  We at LCTC take our communications with the public and our members very seriously.  The Public Relations Committee oversees our online presence as well as implementing ideas for getting members involved in our organization.  They also work very closely with the Membership Committee to institute new ways to attract and engage members.  Do you have experience with publicity in any way?  This would be the committee for you! (Email: Publicrelations@laketheatre.org)

Online theatre is now a forced frontier. As time progresses in this interesting and introverted period of history, creatives everywhere are scrambling to find a way to keep creating. Here in Lake County, we are no different. Statewide restrictions have changed the face of theatre, hopefully only temporarily. In its fifth year, Shakespeare at the

Acting for Kids!!

Acting for Kids!!

Now that all the students are out of school, it can be a challenge for parents to find resources for making sure their child has a well-rounded education.  The ARTS are an important part of that education. Children use the skills they learn in other areas while they are singing and acting. Think of it
