Romeo ‘N Juliet- Shakespeare at the Lake

Romeo ‘N Juliet- Shakespeare at the Lake

🎭 AUDITIONS, Y’ALL! 🎭

Romeo ‘n Juliet – Where true love collides with family fortunes, feuds, and Southern flair.

This ain’t just any small-town love story. We’re settin’ Shakespeare’s classic in 2025, right between the cattle dynasties and peach grower elites of the modern South.

Family legacies are at stake. Romance is forbidden. And Lord help ‘em, these two are fallin’ fast.

📅 Audition Dates: May 15, 6pm, and May 17, 1pm
📍 Location: Mendocino College Lake Center, 2565 Parallel Dr., Lakeport
🎭 Roles Available: ALL OF ‘EM. That’s right, sugar—whether you see yourself as a smooth-talkin’ Romeo, a firecracker Juliet, a meddlin’ nurse, or the cousin who starts the family drama, we’ve got a spot for you. And if you just wanna be part of the action? There’s plenty of room in the ensemble too! From high-society party guests to rowdy ranch hands, this story needs a town full of folks to stir the pot.

💌 How to Audition: Choose a scene from the roles available on our website. There is a document of audition character notes to help you decide. Prepare for the audition by practicin’ how yer gonna talk. Come on down and show us what you got.

No experience? No problem. If you’ve ever thrown a dramatic Southern toast, been caught in a family rivalry, or delivered a perfectly timed “bless your heart,” you just might be perfect.
